Plot Summary

Gali Gali Chor Hai is a satire on corrupt system in India. Akshaye Khanna (Bharat) is an aam aadmi who is caught in the web of corruption. It portrays an episode that changes the lives of a middle class family in Bhopal. Bharat is a part-time cashier and part-time Hanuman at Ramleela. His father values freedom and hopes to see a corruption-free administration in the country. Bharat's table fan gets stolen and to get it back he has to bribe criminals, law keepers etc. It depicts the story of a simpleton and his fight against corruption. This results in total frustration and he gets into headlines.
