ONE OF THE BEST OF ALL THE JAPANESE GIANT MONSTER MOVIES!!!!!!!

In 1995, famed Japanese director Shusuke Kaneko (who would helm the Godzilla film Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-out Attack in 2001) decided to resurect the giant monster Gamera, star of an eight movie-long series that lasted from 1965 to 1981. While the original films were mainly aimed at a younger audience, Kaneko made the decision to update Gamera for a more modern and more mature audience. The result is one of the best giant monster movies ever made. With an engrossing and exciting story, amazing acting, and flat-out awsome special effects that brilliently blend traditional Japanese suitmation techniques with modern CGI, Gamera: Guardian of the Universe is a movie experience that simply can not be missed! Thanks iTunes for making this amazing film available (and adding this film's two sequals, Gamera 2: Attack of Legion (1996) and Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris (1999), as well as the brillient soundtrack(s) would be greatly apreciated)!

Sweet, a Gamera movie on iTunes! Finally a movie made out of turtle-meat!

Gamera, to me, is one of my favorite cult monsters. Even the 60's and 70's films to a certain degree I enjoyed [even though they were supremely cheesy]. But, in the 90's I found a VHS copy of Gamera Guardian of the Universe released by the now defunct ADV. When I watched it, the film completely blew away all of the previous Gamera films. But then again, what do you expect from Shuske Kaneko (the man responsible for the Gamera trilogy, Godzilla Mothra King Ghidorah Giant Monsters All-Out Attack, and the Death Note trilogy)? I also liked that this film made Gyaos the lead villain in this film. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes giant monsters beating each other up at the cost of massive property damage. So, check it out. Keep up the good work, Apple.

BTW, everyone knows that 99% of the monsters that the Japanese deal with are men in suits. But, did you know that Gyaos in ths film was really a WOMAN in a suit?
