Plot Summary

Gamers is a comedy about the lives of four slacker friends (and one obsessive interloper) living at home, "with my parents... it's just temporary... 'til they die," working in the real world but playing in a fantasy world. Obsessed with a role playing game called Demons, Nymphs and Dragons these "gamers" are the subject of this hilarious comedy which chronicles their journey to make it through their horrendous lives while attempting to break the world record for role playing for over 74,558 hours. The sacrifice, the obsession, the blind dedication… this is their true story.

Need Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising

There are better ways to insult my intelligence.

And seriously, you've got me all wrong. You might think I'm some pompous jerk who can't appreicate stupid humor. I can. HELLO! I gave Kung Pow: Enter the Fist 5 glorious stars. But this film, like most every teen movie and a good chunk of movies out there today lose me at one thing: sex. Yes, bathroom humor, sex talk, and orgasms, everytime a film has to resort to that type of humor, I start to tune out and my intelligence is insulted. Seriously, is it possible for there to exist a movie that doesn't require stooping to the lowest common denominator? If you're making a film, try for once to stop trying to appeal to potheads and 14-year-olds. Take some pride in your work. Sorry, but this film is just pathetic. I'm a gamer. And I'm not anything like these idiots. Yeah, could have been funny, but it's not clever or creative. Perhaps a little. The potential is there. But lose the sex humor because in this day and age, it's getting so tiresome.

waste of time and money

Words can't describe how bad this movie was. Please notice that it isn't rated. It is vulgar with no redeeming qualities. I thought it might be interesting like "Trekkies" but it is just awful awful awful.
