Blood In The Streets

Great film! Many of the characters are real but their relationships and years alive were altered to be meat for the movie. Still you can tell that Daniel Day-Lewis is an enormously gifted actor, DiCaprio can't successfully fake an Irish accent, and Cameron Diaz should stick to naive, blonde roles. That being said I still love the film because it has an incredible plot and gives an intentional shove toward reality. It can help someone not rationalize, but comprehend dispute in the era of which the film
is based. Wonderfully shot. Any true Scorsese fan owns this. ENJOY!

Brutal

A brutal, effective film. But why the heck was Cameron Diaz cast as a pretty Irish pickpocket? She's not even Irish-looking! The lovely red-headed actress Alicia Witt would have given the romantic scenes much more credibility.
