What Happens When Industry is Unregulated

"Industry is being held back by regulation. My prosperity and yours depend on deregulation." That's one political argument one frequently hears in this country. This film shows, with respect to the energy / natural gas industry, how dangerous that argument is. You'll see with your own eyes the ways that the health and homes of people around the country have been gravely damaged by unregulated use of fracking to capture natural gas.

This is an exceedingly well-produced documentary. The cinematography and soundtrack are exceptionally good, and the filmmaker / narrator unusually intelligent and self-aware. Watch it.

An interesting view into the secrets of the energy industry.

You can get a quick view into the energy industries motivations. This isn't a huge inside look, but a good way to look at things for a short review.

Should be free

Horrible, disturbing, damning, sad. Not the movie, it was great, but to think we actually let this happen. My heart reaches out to the people whose lives are now totally ruined due to fracking. I never thought plastic bags or a few foam containers were going to bring down the planet, but this will.
