Entertaining

Good zombie film with a classic director. George A. Romero invented the genre himself. Definitely worth renting, if not buying.

Excellent zombie movie

This is another successful zombie movie. It has a fairly good plot, better than most. It's scary and gory. It has an extremely gory unrated version. It has a good cast, and a great director. What more could you ask for?

bleh..

i watched this a few months ago and felt it failed in the horror/survival genre. The survivors don't really seem to be in too much danger and the action is way too predictable, there aren't any real twists, the lines try to push a sense of comic relief but are compleletely irrelevent (maybe trying to appeal to teens of the time it was released?), i swear the writer was a 12 year old that wrote this script behind his mommys back and giggled everytime the characters cussed, acting was decent but they weren't made for this type of film. Also, *spoiler if you even WANT to watch it and i feel sorry for you if this is on your "must see" list* they let the zombies get away. ARE YOU SERIOUS. They feel sorry for the zombies and let them roam the city and kill the people and watch. I rest my case. it overall felt like a drama trying to be a comedy trying to be a scary zombie film and fell apart tremendously
