Plot Summary
When Derek and Charlies dad died, they inherited more than just his craps table. Now, with a 3.5 million dollar gambling debt looming and only three days to pay it back, the odds of staying alive are against them. Forced to set aside their differences, they agree to host a craps game hoping the odds are in their favor. Unfortunately for them, a series of dice controllers quickly teach them that 'the house doesn't always win'. As they grow deeper into debt, they must work together to regain everything they never had in hopes of getting lucky, and getting back to zero.

Zero is a hero
GETTING BACK TO ZERO will pull you in! Once you start watching you just have to find out what will happen next. This dark comedy excels at delivering the laughs while also giving you that (good) uneasy feeling. The relationship between the brothers (played by Nathan Anderson and Nathan Wetherington) as well as the unseen relationship between the brothers and their father is really the core of the story. It drives the plot with the perfect combination of empathy, intrigue and unanswered questions. Even if you don't have an interest in, or a knowledge of gambling, or specially the game of Craps, the film is enjoyable and enticing. The celebrity cameos (Wayne Newton, Alexis Arquette and Shawn Stockman of Boyz 2 Men) gives the experience a kick with every roll of the dice! As the film comes to a close, you will definitely be on the edge of your seat as you find out how it all will end. What will be the fate of the heros? The anxiety takes hold and doesn't let go until it's time to cash out.
Pretty Dope.
This movie has a simple recipe: Action, Hot babes, and Dudes bringing the laughs. It’s also suspenseful enough to keep you interested in the story. I was surprised at how much I liked it.
Craps enthusiast
This is the first film to touch on the underground world of craps play in America. Touching all subjects from dice control to underground play, the characters and story are spot on. This is a fantastic film about the drama and hilarity the culture of American craps players who risk gigantic portions of money just for kicks, and often find themselves in over their heads! Absolutely a recommended movie for anyone who is curious about the game and especially for those who are avid players and want some great entertainment. My hat is off to those who did the research to portray the culture of players more accurately than any other film before this.
