Plot Summary
The year is 2030 and a war continues to rage on between refugees and the increasing hostile national population. Tensions bubble to the surface as terrorist attacks by the splinter group Individual Eleven wreak havoc on an already fragile Tokyo. We discover that the seemingly random acts of violence are actually a campaign with the most sinister of objectives. With a sadistic intent of mass destruction, will they triumph in victory or discover the gloomy pitfalls of defeat?

A good reason to buy the box set.......
If you've read my review of "The Laughing Man" then I realy don't have to write a rewiew for the "Individual Eleven" movie.
Despite the segues and seperate story lines that devide the TV show's overall plot, the entire season 2 of Ghost In The Shell is a MUCH better deal. There are quite a few dicrepancies in contenuity that will leave you scratching your head after watching the "movie".
And as before, the TV show gets a five star rating from me.....the "movie" gets a more-than-generous TWO star rating.
Yes the series is far better but this is still WAY cool...
The only reason I rate this so high when the TV Series is so much better is that (a) the TV series is 13-hours long (duh) and therefore absolutely SHOULD have more depth; and, (b) in my opinion, the TV series is flat out the single best season of television ever produced by anyone, anywhere -- in any genre or format.
My question is.... What is the difference between this movie and the movie call GITSSAC "the 2nd Gig"? Is there any difference at all? They seem to have the exact same playing time.

th hot cyborg is always on the case. if only she was nude like in the first one. that reminds me i want to see that other one: ghost in the shell 2.0. that one looks good. this is great as well.
