A TOUCHING AND POWERFUL EXPERIENCE!
Gimme Shelter stars Vanessa Hudgens, Rosario Dawson and Brendan Fraser. This movie does a great job of telling a story of a broken, lonely girl named Apple. Played by the talented Vanessa Hudgens. Vanessa Hudgens really shows her commitment in acting as she is completely transformed into her character for the gritty role. I felt the pain she was feeling in every scene she was in. Rosario Dawson was haunting as the wicked and evil mother of Apple. She also took great effort to bring this disturbing character to life. Brendan Fraser's role wasn't too great, but he got the job done. From the beginning scene watching Apple barely escape her crazy mother, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. This movie could not possibly be done without the excellent work of Vanessa Hudgens and Rosario Dawson. This film has some heart wrenching scenes that will guarantee tears. I really suggest you check this one out!

This is a story of tragedy and hope. And time of new beginnings. It shows what it means to be a good mother. It is a true tale of acceptance, kindness, family, growth & love.
Not a family film, but a film for aspiring parents and those who are dealing with family problems. Whether it be a broken home, dealing with addictions, teen pregnancy, or simply the feeling of being unwanted, you can find hope; this film can help provide that for you.
