Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Even Gleeks who love to watch seasoned showbiz belters pretend to be high school kids on the hit TV series Glee may wince at the cheesy marketing angle of Glee the 3D Concert Movie. – Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly, Aug 12, 2011

Rotten: Even as a concert movie, there are some stumbles. – Scott Bowles, USA Today, Aug 11, 2011

Fresh: Even the uninitiated could do a lot worse than this 80-minute musical valentine to the outsider in us all. – Lael Loewenstein, Variety, Aug 11, 2011

Fresh: The 3-D ... is negligibly bedazzling when the high-wattage charm of natural showman Darren Criss - leading all-male group the Warblers as Blaine - and the effortlessly appealing Chris Colfer as Kurt already pop off the screen. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Aug 11, 2011

IF YOU LOVE "GLEE", YOU'LL LOVE THIS MOVIE!

The title pretty much speaks for itself. If you love listening and singing along to upbeat renditions of classic and contemporary songs sung by the stars of one of the biggest shows on TV today, you won't be disappointed. Aside from the concert itself (which I wish I would've gone to), the film mainly spotlights the cast of the hit series (still in character), as well as a number of Gleeks who've been inspired by the show in one way or another. Other than that, there's nothing much else to say. All in all, "Glee: The Concert Movie" is an energetic, feel-good flick filled with amazing musical numbers and stand-out performances from Rachel, Finn, Kurt, and the rest of New Directions. Even the Warblers show up to sing a few tunes. It might not be a film everyone's gonna like, but for the fans of the series (including me), it's a toe-tapping good time!

who ever is thinking about getting this movie, PLEASE DO!!!

I saw the concert and the movie, and I absolutely loved it!! Trust me, this is a MUST BUY! No matter what, Glee is always worth every penny. = ) Like if you agree!

terrible

okay, honestly, this was not even a movie. more than Half the time the glee characters weren't even there, just random people telling their life stories that people could care less about. Concert took up exactly 10% of the movie. I had to leave the theather early because this movie was so bad. Don't waste your time or money on this movie.
