Tomatometer IS WRONG

Even though the rating weren't so good this movie was good. The main character is pretty relatable. The movie is pretty good and its witty and smart.

Critics are too Critical

Despite a loosely connected plot and the lackluster acting of Phillips, his endearing qualities, a strong supporting cast and the beautifully shot landscapes combine for an enjoyable and "easy" film.

Very enjoyable!

Despite the rotten critical reviews I decided to watch this movie and am glad I did. I like the cast of actors and thought they did a great job in this unconventional coming of age story. I think many viewers out there can relate to the issues of family, friendship, loyalty, and personal growth explored in the movie. I liked the ending and the surprise cameo appearance by M.D. Have to give 4 stars for this all-around satisfying movie experience.
