Plot Summary

This contemporary film has an updated look and a high-tech polish while still retaining the spirit of past 'Godzilla' films. In it, Japan is threatened not only by Godzilla, but by a gigantic flying monster and its legions of hungry larva. As the monsters go at it, the Japanese military scrambles to destroy all them all.

Okay...

I want Godzilla vs biollante '92

It's not the best, but it's definitely not the worst.

Godzilla vs. Megaguirus is an average, but very unusual Godzilla film. The music is very nice, and the fight between Godzilla and Megaguirus at the end is worth the preceeding insanity. There are black-hole creating devices, dragonflies from other dimensions, secret government conspiracies (well, only one really), and a person actually touches Godzilla without any ill effects from his radiation. It's fun! It's an uneven effort, with a very lame sequence that takes place right in the middle of Godzilla's battle with Megaguirus. But this is a very entertaining movie at any rate, and I would recommend buying or renting.

It's Alright, but not exactly the best

This film seems to be ok because it gives us a new feel about an obscure kaiju/kaijin/whatever by the name of Meganulon from Rodan. In the original, they felt like those giant worms with pinchers from The Black Scorpion (a decent monster movie, take that Waffles345). But now, they give us a new feel- instead of worms with pinchers they are now nymphs to Meganulon, who serve the Megaguirus. It's interesting. It's also interesting that these Meganulon swarms think they can take on Godzilla { see the film and you'll see what I mean ;) }. Oh, forgot about the review. The story is somewhat coherent and at times original (going on Godzilla's dorsal fins and actually using a novel-idea weapon), but I wouldn't exactly choose it in my library. All in all, if you want to view this movie, go ahead. Have your own opinion.
