Plot Summary
In this wildly outrageous romantic comedy, high-flying Wall Street wonder boy Ryan Turner (Charlie Sheen) has it all: a gorgeous girlfriend, a fabulous apartment, good looks and a bright career. He just can't lose- until he gets a bum stock tip and suddenly his world comes crashing down. Out of a job, and knowing a thing or two about women, Ryan secretly writes his (now) ex-girlfriend Cindy's (Denise Richards) advice column, Ask Cindy- with disastrous results. On the verge of getting fired by the newspaper editor, Page (Angie Harmon), Turner turns to his plastic surgeon buddy Barry (Jon Lovitz) for help. Once a boorish, insensitive guy, he transforms the column, and himself, in to a winner of hearts and minds- including his ex-girlfriend's editor, Page. A delightful romp, you'll love this romantic comedy of identity.

Amazing
I am a very avid romantic comedy aficionado and I absolutely LOVED Good Advice! I was skeptical about it going in. It was eleven years old and it was a romcom after all. How good could it be, really? But as an Angie Harmon fan, I decided to brave a film led by Charlie Sheen. And I am so glad I did! Sheen is even enjoyable in his role as Ryan Turner and you can't help but root for him. Angie is pretty adorable in her role as Page Hensen too.
The only downside were the sex scenes. They were needless, I thought.
