Customer Reviews

entertaining

I saw this movie because the trailers looked very funny. And alot of it is. But buried deep within the humor are some commentaries on African Americans (particularly woman) and their relationship with their hair that make you stop, and reflect. Recommend it.

Documentary

A very creative, informative, and entertaining documentary covering various aspects of the black hair industry.

Entertaining

as well as informative. Chris Rock brings an interesting point of view to a particular facet of hair care. I didn't realize black women's hair care is complex and expensive. Chris Rick goes deep into the subject of good hair vs bad hair and the extremes to obtain the "good hair". It's eye opening for someone like myself who had no clue about this subject.
