Plot Summary
Freemont Gordon finds himself working in a successful architecture firm in Los Angeles, a job he doesn’t enjoy. He lives in the shadow of his famous family and finds that pressure makes it hard for him to do what he really loves: work with his hands. Shortly after turning 30, Freemont puts work aside to anonymously build a treehouse for some neighborhood kids, a task that brings him complete bliss. Basking in his happiness, he meets a spontaneous and quirky girl, and finally finding the strength within himself, he quits his job. Still unable to escape the pressures of the “Gordon” name he leaves town on a road trip to nowhere in particular. He is met with kindness along his journey which he repays by anonymously building treehouses for those in need. Along the way, Freemont learns the importance of doing what you love and the impact it can have on other people’s lives.

Moving, Inspirational, American road trip- Richard Karn's best work
Richard Karn is incredibly moving in this film. I'm biased, but his role in this is the best I've seen- AND the film is safe for the whole family to watch.
The music is amazing, I recommend looking up the music as its very moving.
