Plot Summary
A successful Hollywood movie director unexpectedly falls under the accusations of the House Un-American Activities Committee during the notorious communist witch hunts of the 1950s. He's forced to re-assess his career, family and relationships as his once-secure life plunges into chaos.

One Of Deniro’s Best Performances
The movie is not much more than a TV movie, but Deniro is at his peak. Understated, simple, powerful. Some Kazan in his portraiture. And he looks very handsome.
