Plot Summary

In the vast wilderness of the Klamath National Forest lies the small logging community of Happy Camp, a mysterious mountain town renowned for its staggeringly high number of missing person cases. At the age of 9, Michael was adopted by Walt and Sandy, and brought to Happy Camp where they were raising their young son, Dean. The boys bonded immediately and for the first time in his life, Michael had a family. Two years later tragedy struck; Dean was abducted. Michael was the only witness but had no recollection of the event. To this day Dean's disappearance, along with another 627 missing persons from Happy Camp, remains unsolved. 20 years later, Michael has mustered the courage to face the past and return home, reluctantly agreeing to allow a professional film crew to document the journey that will change their lives forever...
