Plot Summary
Lou Ferrigno stars as the semi-divine son of Zeus and the mortal Alcmene. Hercules must rescue Princess Cassiopea from her kidnappers, fight off grotesque monsters and banish a giant bear into space where it becomes Ursa Major, the Big Dipper or "Great Bear" constellation.

So bad it is kinda good
If you enjoy cheesy movies, this movie offers a full course to delight you. From the bad dubbing to the cheap eighties era special effects this movie doesn't let up. This makes it just about irrestible.
If you're a bodybuilding fan, it does feature Ferrigno in the shape of his life. He works earnestly enough at the part without the humor that would help the Sorbo series to succeed. However Ferrigno's not playing this for laughs does crelate its own comedy. Also his physical size is so at odds with rest of the cast, it is fun to see them maneuvering around him at times.
Overall this entertaining in a special bad movie way that doesn't happen anymore (see the recent Clash of the Titans for an example of thudding non entertaining badness).
