Plot Summary
Emmy and Golden Globe-winner John Ritter (TV's "Three's Company," "Slingblade") stars as a struggling actor who foils a robbery while dressed in a promotional "Captain Avenger" suit. Trouble ensues when his actions make him a celebrity hero. Starring Oscar-nominees Ann Archer ("Fatal Attraction," "Patriot Games") and Kevin McCarthy ("Death of a Salesmen," "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"). With Bert Convy ("The Cannonball Run") and, for "Back-to-Bacon" enthusiasts, a surprise cameo by Kevin Bacon ("The River Wild," "Apollo 13").

Worth the time and money
It was a little dorky and dated, but I expected that. It's a refreshingly innocent feel good movie that reminded me why I loved John Ritter as an actor.
