Plot Summary
Academy Award winner Robert De Niro stars in this thrilling suspense drama as David Callaway, a troubled father and widower, and Dakota Fanning portrays his young daughter Emily, who is hiding an incredible secret. Father and daughter move to up-state New York after Callaway's wife dies suddenly. Soon thereafter, Emily develops a mysterious friendship with Charlie. At first David sees Charlie as a positive way for Emily to express herself, but a series of terrifying acts lead him to imagine the unimaginable: Charlie may actually be real... and if so, he must be stopped.

Rotten: The movie's only rewards are a few unintentional laughs, as when the sheriff (Dylan Baker) calls Emily a 'cute kid' after a long stretch in which she's been acting and looking battier than Sunset Boulevard's Norma Desmond.
Rotten: It's so absolutely preposterous that it stops the film cold and draws a collective 'Aw c'mon!' from viewers wondering if maybe they should take back some of that ill will that greeted M. Night Shyamalan's surprise turn of events in The Village.
Rotten: Through its first two-thirds, at least, Hide and Seek does a good enough job of piquing our curiosity that the movie's ultimate dumbness is more than a minor insult.
Rotten: Follows no semblance of internal logic.

I lovee this movie. One of the best horror flims ive seen. Dokota Fanning is suchh an amizing actress. =]
CREEP-ola
This movie was the creepiest horror I have seen. Very good storyline and has very good actors. The main thing that creeped me out was, oddly enough, the little girl's voice. But it was a FANTASTIC horror. I would watch it if I were you!
