Plot Summary

Peter Plunkett, unable to make the payments on a castle in Ireland, decides to advertise the castle as haunted to attract gullible American tourists. Among those who visit is Jack, a romantic desperate to rekindle the romance with his wife, Sharon. Peter and his staff fake the haunting, but soon awake the real ghosts of the castle, including a female ghost who falls in love with Jack.

Nice! :D

I hadn't seen this movie in a long awhile, and I enjoyed it then as I enjoy it now. Not a movie that has awesome effects or a surperb storyline but great if you like the "80's classics". It's good, but also just one of those films you'd have to have an appreciation for. What I consider a romantic comedy.

It's a good 1980's vintage movie with a fine cast. See Liam Neeson, Beverly D'Angelo, Peter O'Toole, a sexy Jennifer Tilly, and many others in this fun filled comedy about a man and his family of ghosts trying to save their castle.
