Plot Summary

Heartbroken from a recent breakup and barely enduring a dreary winter, gay Parisian Jerome impulsively books a solo Christmas vacation to Los Angeles. There, he meets some colorful locals and pursues a dormant desire to become a movie star - but never can quite put his past behind him. Jerome goes far in the sun-drenched City of Angels but ultimately arrives at an old Hollywood maxim: there's no place like home. Bright, funny, honest and utterly charming, Hollywood, Je T'aime is a stunning debut for Director Jason Bushman. Eric Debets shines as Jerome. His classic look and an amusing ease with his own awkwardness are evocative of Buster Keaton and Marcel Marceau.

Customer Reviews

this movie was great

this movie was great some people need to just need to mind there on business on personal issues

good movie. about life, love, and culture shock

I forget sometimes that their are still people out in the world that are so racist, homophobic, prejiduce... etc. As far as this movie goes I thought the storyline was great, the acting was fantastic, and it gets four out of five stars from me! But let me caution you if your racist, homophobic, or prejiduce, even have a problem with accepting other cultures than your own.. then you probably wont like this movie, because its reflects real-life culture, real-life homosexuality, and love. If your even halfway educated non-ignorant open minded person I think you will like this movie.. it makes you laugh, and really makes you think about culture shock for immigrants, and the problems you would encounter being an immigrant, not to mention the HATRED we all face in this country from ignorant homophobic people...

Love and peace-

great movie.
