Plot Summary
Watch Horrible Bosses Totally Inappropriate Edition, with 8 minutes of all new hilarious footage not seen in theatres! For Nick, Kurt and Dale, (Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis) the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses (Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, and Kevin Spacey) into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, on the strength of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con (Jamie Foxx), the guys devise a convoluted but foolproof plan to rid the world of their respective employers... permanently. But even the best-laid plans are only as good as the brains behind them.

THE BEST BUDDY COMEDY OF THE YEAR!
Seriously, what's not to like about "Horrible Bosses"? It's got a terrific comedic cast, hilarious dialogue, an insane premise, and a smart script. In other words, it's freakin' amazing! Anyway, I decided to go see this movie during opening weekend since the trailer and TV spots captured my interest, plus the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes weren't half bad (then again, I hardly ever care about other film critics' opinions anyway). From the moment I took my seat, I couldn't stop laughing no matter how hard I tried. Jason Bateman (Nick), Charlie Day (Kurt), and Jason Sudeikis (Dale) are hysterical as three best friends who hate their insufferable bosses with a passion and come up with a fullproof (and idiotic) scheme to kill them, only to have their plan completely backfire in the most outrageous way imaginable. Let me begin by saying how impressed I am with Jennifer Aniston and her laugh-out-loud performance as a sex-crazed dentist who Kurt (Day) works for. Her raunchy mannerisms and explicit lines were more than enough to win the audience and I over. Huh, maybe she does have what it takes to star in movies that aren't all cheesy PG-13-rated rom-coms. As for Kevin Spacey, who plays Nick's (Bateman) over-bearing boss, he really knocks it out of the ballpark in what I consider to be one of the best performances of his career. He's, by far, the most evil out of all three bosses in the film, but for those of you who haven't seen it yet, maybe I shouldn't give away too much detail about him. Let's just say that the last thing you wanna do is get him angry. While "Horrible Bosses" does have its huge upsides, I do have some minor complaints. For one, Colin Farrell, who plays Dale's (Sudeikis) sleazy tool of a boss, is barely even in the movie compared to the others. Sure, he's memorable in some scenes, but not memorable enough to where you remember him as a significant character. It's a shame because Farrell is a really funny guy and the fact that he isn't in the film for that long is somewhat disappointing. I suppose the same thing can be said about Jamie Foxx, who stars as a hustling ex-con who our three heroes "hire" to get the job done, but he's more of a supporting character if you really think about it. That, and the pacing of the film is just a little off at times. But other than those slight missteps, "Horrible Bosses" is a hilariously awesome buddy flick filled with clever humor, witty dialogue, and some of the best performances you're likely to see in any comedy this year. If I were you, I'd buy this bad boy so you can watch it again and again. If you love a good R-rated (and male-oriented) comedy as much as I do, I guarantee you won't be disappointed!
Funniest Film of 2011
Horrible Bosses is screamingly hilarious. It beats Bridesmaids to the punch and goes among the ranks with The Hangover as one of the funniest comedies of the last five years. The comedic timing is brilliant, the plot is pitch perfect and Charlie Day.... may this film be the beginning of a long and hilarious carrier from him. Nothing has and will make me laugh harder at anything this year besides this movie. This is a grade A comedy classic, see it NOW!
