Plot Summary
Get ready to kick some serious past with the wildly inappropriate UNRATED version of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE. The outrageous laughs bubble up when four friends share a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, only to wake up with nasty hangovers in 1986 – back when girls wore leg warmers, guys watched Red Dawn and Michael Jackson was black! Now, nice-guy Adam (John Cusack), party animal Lou (Rob Corddry), married man Nick (Craig Robinson) and mega-nerd Jacob (Clark Duke) must relive a wild night of sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll. And, with the help of a one-armed bellhop (Crispin Glover) and a mysterious repairman (Chevy Chase), these time tourists just might get lucky, survive the acid-wash ’80s and change their future—forever!

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Admirably turns a potentially one-note joke into a consistently funny package.
Fresh: Hugely raunchy and undeniably funny, with Cusack adding just a hint of sweetness.
Fresh: Director Steve Pink offsets the satire with moments of genuine warmth.
Rotten: Star power and a quirky premise alone are not enough to sustain a feature length comedy when too many of the gags are inadequately developed.

Hangover=
To me, this movie was better or equal to the Hangover! And it is truly hard for me to say that. The "home sweet home" video at the end is rockstar!
Don't get me wrong, you may not like this movie. It's very 80s infused and unless you know your pop culture you may not appreciate all of.
For what's it's worth, I recommend you seeing it.
Lol- if you really wanna laugh, listen to the commentary on the Twilight bluray. The actors totally clown themselves.
Had to see it twice in the theater because I was laughing too hard
Having grown up in the mid 80's, I couldn't stop laughing and missed quite a few things the first time through. The sheer shock value of some of the things that Lou (aka Lou-cifer) says and does are just over the top. This movie was good fun, and I thought that the cast dynamic was great. They could have played up Chevy Chase's character, but given that he is a bit of an 80's cheeseball icon having him in at all was funny enough. Crispin Glover was another funny addition to the cast and that took me back to '85 and Back to the Future.
One of the funniest flicks of all time for me. Don't watch it if you're easily offended or didn't enjoy the 80's.
Not too great..
One of those movies that you wish was a lot better than it really is. A one joke premise that gets really old really fast. I guess there's still a large audience out there that finds bathroom humor and vomit gags funny - I'm not in the 7th grade. D-U-M-B..
