Plot Summary
A film the Los Angeles Times calls “equal parts sexy and scary,” How to Cheat is a funny, and sometimes too close for comfort, exploration of the ups, downs and in-betweens of marriage. When conceiving a child for Beth and Mark moves from “beyond difficult” to “next to impossible,” a confused and frustrated Mark turns to the internet to find the perfect affair to shake things up and have something for himself. When Mark, not wanting to be dishonest about his motives, reveals his intentions to his potential extra marital partners, he meets Louise whose complex attitude leads them all down an unexpected path. Smart and honest
Affairs come in all shapes and sizes, but rarely does someone explore their inception as well as Amber Sealey does in How to Cheat. Honest, raw, spontaneous and engaging, the film explores one man's solution to a troubled marriage and the unexpected results of his choices. A true indie find!
Great Script - Amazing acting
Pretty much summed up my thoughts about this film in the title of this review. I can't recommend this movie enough. If you are a fan of deep and sometimes uncomfortable examinations of modern life, watch this movie! Stellar performances and a thought provoking script. Awesome.
A must see!
This is a movie that explores the true depth of relationships and the struggle and joy that can come out in the most unlikely times. It is surprising, unique, beautiful and will make you look at yourself and your relationship differently. You've got to see this film!
