Plot Summary

In this heartwarming story about listening to your heart, Winona Ryder stars as Finn, a graduate student who decides to spend a summer away from her boyfriend at the home of her grandmother (Ellen Burstyn) and great aunt (Anne Bancroft). But Finn’s plans to finish her thesis and mull over a marriage proposal are quickly pushed aside in favor of listening to the ladies of her grandmother’s quilting circle, as they reveal the loves and losses that shaped their own lives.
