I love this cheesy, creepy film!
I love this movie. I think it should be taken as a stand-alone film. In this light, I think it becomes a nice, creepy, cheesy horror movie whodunnit in the same vein as "The Beast Must Die". I had a good time watching this with my nieces while eating lots of pizza! :)
As a footnote, I would like to add that later sequels decide to tie this film in with some of the other films in this franchise.
Also, this film was released in the 1990s, not the 80s.
OK
For a sequel it is OK. You'd expect the horrible plot, considering it is a sequel, and this is set in the 80s. Plus they couldn't even afford to cast proper actors.
The script is really bad, and there are points where you can't help but cringe. Especially at the beginning where you first meet the characters (prior to their invitation to the castle).
The worst flaw is that you barely see the werewolf. You get glimpses and that's it.
You do find out in a "twist ending", where one must decide who the werewolf really is, that it is infact the one you did not think it would be!

Consensus: "Alright for a very late Friday night movie. It'll help cure your insomnia."
