An uplifting story

The people in a small Texas town have lost hope because of a series of tragedies, and just as the town seems about to die, God sends them a mighty angel in the form of a boy. At first nobody suspects his true identity, but after a series of miracles, and after the boy reveals detailed knowledge about what people are privately struggling with, they become very interested in his identity.

While it is a family movie, the townsfolk are dealing with difficult adult issues like drug addiction, depression and cancer, so it's not for very young children. There is no strong language or sex in the movie, but there is a scene where someone wants to commit suicide.

Several famous actors lend their talents to this movie, but the lead character, the boy-angel, steals the show. He seems like just a cute kid on the outside, but he always carries himself as an adult, and after displaying determination and bravery, people start treating him like one.

It's a very uplifting movie with an good message. Highly recommended.

Too Many Tears… for a guy

Its definitely not for the very young as some scenes will require explanation, nothing sexual, but hard hitting content with a "Saturday afternoon special" feel. The acting is just enough to keep you interested, although I don't see any acting awards in the future. It's a good story, and I don't care if your a tough guy, get ready to shed a few tears as this one gets you in touch with your other side. It is also a spiritual story so if you are not a fan of "God loves you" kind of movies you may not like this one. I would say overall it is worth your 93 minutes on a "there is nothing else on T.V." kind of night.

this isn't Gabriel

Just downloaded and watched. Do NOT buy this movie. The script is AWFUL. The acting was, for the most part, amateurish. This has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
