Plot Summary

Based on the best-selling playbook for gettin’ some, this uproarious, unrated release is so shockingly raunchy, it will leave you gasping (if not gagging) with laughter! A connoisseur of fast times and faster women, Tucker Max (Czuchry) unleashes his wit and wants on every unsuspecting female around – from horny hotties to aroused cougars to one amorous dwarf – for one night of non-stop debauchery. But the night gets out of control when the boys meet a stripper who can match their misogynist mouths, and Tucker becomes the butt of a vengeful practical joke. Nothing is sacred in one of the smartest, most well-written, disgusting, hilarious, endearing, offensive and downright best comedies within its genre to date!

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: A mediocre gross out movie that barely pushes the envelope. – Stephen Holden, New York Times, Sep 25, 2009

Rotten: The movie plays out like a watered-down and far less comical version of The Hangover, without the likable characters and the crazy fun. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: Speaking generously for the sake of everyone involved in this mess, let's hope the title proves prophetic. – Frank Scheck, Hollywood Reporter, Sep 25, 2009

Rotten: Might be the most hypocritical feature in the history of film as well as the history of hypocrisy, and along with serving beer, I hope they show I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell in hell. – Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune, Jul 7, 2010

Bad publicity

Personally I really loved this movie. Budget was definately low but I thought the script was actually pretty entertaining all in all. You might gripe because the budget seems cheap or acting could've been better or even because you think it reenforces some archaic stereotype but in the end it was in my opinion worth watching. I enjoyed it. Though the book is better but only in content. The story quality is here too. After all the same person who wrote the book worked on the screenplay. Watch it.

APPAULING

Okay... I'll give it to guy. The book was pretty darn hilarious. However, The over-the-top stories seemed a bit much, and in a lot of cases.... seemed fabricated. The movie, first off, does the book NO JUSTICE... The movie in fact proves my point. This movie is obviously fake and acted... I can't imagine anyone getting away w/this stuff in real life... Lastly... This subject matter is straight up APPAULING... come on folks ... lets teach men to be MEN ... not PIGS. As a 24 year old Male .... I hate this book and movie (though i'll admit it was funny) because I hate what it represents... It proves Chivalry, Fidelity, HOnesty, and Genuine sentiment are all GONE.

meh

The book was sooooo funny but the movie is only ok
