Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: "I Origins" slows down the longer it goes on, and the last half hour drifts into vagueness. The climax is dramatically inert and depends on the soundtrack to convince us that it's actually happening. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Jul 24, 2014

Rotten: Makes a too obvious attempt to repeat [Cahill's] previous effort, wanting to be spooky and ending up soggy. – John Anderson, Newsday, Jul 24, 2014

Fresh: This is a beautifully crafted story that takes us on quite the journey of exploration and discovery. – Bill Zwecker, Chicago Sun-Times, Jul 24, 2014

Fresh: With a slew of seemingly random clues unraveling in the pursuit of scientific mystery, Origins becomes gut-punching marvel. – Sean Fitz-Gerald, Denver Post, Jul 25, 2014
