Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: A droll Nietzschean fable that's fully aware of its lapses into absurdity. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Mar 3, 2011

Fresh: Somewhere in all the blood (sickening realism is a selling point), a question is posed: When does the one fighting a monster become a monster himself? – Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly, Mar 2, 2011

Fresh: Even at its most chaotic, the film never loses sight of the human toll of the increasingly over-the-top events it portrays. – Mark Olsen, Los Angeles Times, Mar 3, 2011

Rotten: Never good with nuance, Kim is a beast with disarming imagery (like the severed head that turns face-up in a river current) but has few resonating ideas, leaving the domino-tumble of brutality to become its own tiresome spectacle. – Michael Atkinson, Village Voice, Mar 1, 2011

Wow

Best Movie!!

Masterpiece

A masterpiece if you know how to handle this subject. This is by far the best revenge movie that I have seen in a long time. The guy who played the killer had shades of Barden from no country for old men and he nailed it!! It's brutal, honest, intelligent, gripping and all the good things that are bad..
Make no mistake this is tough movie and may not be for everyone..
Thumbs up!!

Unbelievably Disturbing

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a movie that moved me like this one. An emotional rollercoaster ride that will make you question your own morality.
