Plot Summary
From Walt Disney Pictures, the studio that brought you The Princess Diaries, Ice Princess is a hilarious and heartwarming coming-of-age story featuring popular teen star Michelle Trachtenberg (TV's Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Eurotrip). Though she longs to become a graceful champion figure skater, gawky Casey Carlyle (Trachtenberg) has always been just a brainy high school misfit. And with a strong-willed mother (Joan Cusack -- Raising Helen) pushing her toward a top university, it seems as if she'll never get the chance to be like the elite skating prodigies she sees at the rink. But when Casey uses her head and follows her heart, she'll find herself transformed beyond her wildest dreams! Also starring Kim Cattrall, it's an uplifting and laugh-packed story your whole family will flip for!

Rotten: A savvier movie (and script) might have been able to mix some grays into its black and white palette.
Fresh: Although this is the kind of entertainment designed to send its audience home happy, Ice Princess has its share of stinging moments and has a good deal more edge than one might have expected.

Ice Princess
This is such a good movie! Now I know it is really inaccurate, since I also skate and she figured out how to do a triple lutz before I could do crossovers, but it's entertaining. I wouldn't pay $15 though, because I have it on DVD. iTunes movies should be like $5.
Ice Princess rules!
I figure skate and i can relate to this movie in a lot of ways,it is a truly amazing movie and people come to realize what figure skaters go through to prepare for competitons and events!!!
ice princess is so cool!!
this movie is really good. i've already watched it about 4 times by myself and about 3 time with friends. all of my friends like this movie but i LOVE it!!!!! totally worth it if you buy it!
