Plot Summary
Jazz is a living thing, a conversation between musicians and each other as well as musicians and the audience. By combining archival footage, interviews with 75 jazz artists and live recordings culled from 25 hours of concerts, Icons Among Us is a dynamic and engaging document of many of the greatest jazz musicians of today.

Brilliant!
Any musician/fan, regardless of style of music (but particularly jazz/improve/jam) needs to watch this movie. 5 stars and very inspirational.

Producer friend told me this was one of the best films they've seen.
Just spoke to a respected colleague today who phoned me all the way from Mexico to share his thoughts on this movie. He gushed about the power of this film to express the inexpressible. Simply put he said "they (musicians) trusted the filmmakers and filmmakers trusted the music" pitch perfect!
