Plot Summary
Set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War in the '90s, this provocative new film follows a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who fall in love on the brink of the terrible armed conflict that tears their world apart. Although separated by the war along ethnic lines, they are fatefully reunited when she becomes a prisoner in a camp he oversees. Despite the most challenging circumstances imaginable, their relationship continues to evolve. But can their bond survive the horrific war aswell as the dangerous cat-and-mouse games they themselves initiate?

great movie
I moved from Bosnia n 93 to USA,and after watching this movie brings me memories from the war.Movie shows only portion of thngs that was happening thru whole country.In town Srebrenica ,Serbian army killed 8000 man ,including young boys age 5 and up in two days.This movie is really good and true 100%..5 star from me,someone who went thrue hell and lived to tell about it!
WOW, breathless
The skills that Angelina Jolie used to created this complex story show just how much she wants to change the world! OK, the subject matter may not appeal to many of us unfamiliar with the Bosnian War, but she showed it's brutality honestly, brutally, but not obscenely. The love story is expressed in a very emotional way and the acting is first rate. This is an amazing first time Directorial debut and the fact the she both wrote and produced this film is also a credit to her. Well done, Angie. You should be proud!!
In the land of blood and honey
I gave this movie five stars because it is everything a movie should be like. I honestly enjoyed this movie, and it kept me on the edge of my seat just wondering what was going to happen to the women in this picture. It is a must see movie if you are a person who likes action and suspense in terms of what is going to occur next.
