Plot Summary
Every second counts in this sexy, stylish action-thriller starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. In a future where time is literally money and aging stops at 25, the only way to stay alive is to earn, borrow, steal or inherit more time. But when a poor, working-class man (Timberlake) is falsely accused of murder, he teams up with a beautiful heiress (Seyfried) and must figure out a way to bring down the corrupt system before their dwindling life clocks run out!

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Niccol, whose excellent 1997 film Gattaca revealed a similar obsession with human genetics, is an above-average filmmaker who may simply lack the daredevil recklessness a project like this requires.
Fresh: Niccol's zippy direction, joined to a sleek, rich production design, keeps the movie spinning like a shiny toy.
Rotten: It's a little like Michael Bay's The Island in the way the narrative fails to live up to the promise of its back story.
Rotten: In Time is so crammed with provocative ideas it begins to feel over-crowded.

Amazing and Thrilling!
I loved it! I was on the edge of my seat the whole entire time while watching. Don't listen to what the critics say they are dead wrong about this movie and about every other. It's a must see!
rotten tomatoes doesn
these critics on rotten tomatoes are horrible, this was one of the best movies of the year. obviously a movie like this (sic fi) can't really get a good rating because of it's genre (excluding planet of the apes and forbidden planet) but i have to say it was a great bonnie and clyde-ish type of story that kept me on the edge of my seat.
Interesting
Timberlake makes another successful attempt at acting, and Amanda Seyfried expands her horizons from romantic comedies (Mean Girls, Letters to Juliet). This film has a unique premise, and keeps your attention; however, it lacks a depth that leaves you with any insight other than being thankful your life isn't like those of the characters within the film. How dreadful that would be!
