Plot Summary

The tenants of a Manhattan apartment are terrorized by deadly spirits. Among other equally gruesome things, they are decapitated, clawed to death by cats, burned, and attacked by a knife-wielding killer. Another stylish horror opus from the incomparable Argento. INFERNO acts as a semi-sequel to his previous film SUSPIRIA (1977), involving the same witch-lore. This time around, there are a few very memorable set-pieces, most notably an eerie, breathtaking underwater scene. Stylish, violent, and classy all at the same time.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: the ending, while certainly fulfilling the title's promise, disappoints with its cheap parlour tricks and cheesy Halloween costumery. – Anton Bitel, Little White Lies, Dec 1, 2010

Fresh: More so than any other Argento film, this one is for the fans. – Ed Gonzalez, Slant Magazine, Apr 10, 2014

INFERNO

AWSOME MOVIE, to those who appreciate good art, can see the humour in anything, and love the dark magical feel that most early Argento movies hold.

Great, buuuut

They need to put Suspiria on here...real talk :p
