Plot Summary
Lifelong friends, Matt and Sam are searching for the one big idea that will change their lives forever. But their inventions all fall flat and their sales techniques leave customers wanting. When one bad decision costs them everything they have and puts their friendship to the test, they find that hitting rock bottom could lead them to the most ingenious idea they've ever had.

Not Really a Comedy - Ouch!
Loosely based on a true story about the inventor of the talking beer opener - yes, really! - this film has several awkwardly painful moments involving compulsive gambling and drinking that get swamped by the supposed feel-good ending. Not a bad movie, but weird, and not especially funny if your family has issues around alcohol or gambling (ie, about 2/3 of us).
