Plot Summary

Almost forty years after John F. Kennedy's assassination an ex-Marine named Walter Ohlinger has come forward with a startling claim. I was in Dallas November 22, 1963. Does that mean anything for you?…I've never told anyone this before, no one knows…I was the second gunman behind the stockade fence on what they called the grassy knoll. I fired one shot from there.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Resourceful and ingenious entertainment. – Dave Kehr, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Fresh: The film's best trick is the way that it treats conspiracy as a kind of political Blair Witch, a monstrous murk that haunts us precisely because it can never be seen. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Sep 7, 2011

Fresh: Interview With the Assassin is a satisfying picture that like a pot of water on the stove keeps heating up until it explodes. – Walter Dawkins, Variety, May 27, 2011

Rotten: Never quite transcends jokester status ... and the punchline doesn't live up to Barry's dead-eyed, perfectly chilled delivery. – Dennis Lim, Village Voice, Jun 24, 2010

Very controversial.....

I can tell you right now, I just finished watching this movie and I am speechless!!! All I have to say is any documentary movie like Blair Witch & all that does not even amount to this!

Gripping!

Wonderful performance of Ohlinger. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Has a few laughs in it as well. Great film!! Seems as though you are watching the actual confession of an assassin because of how it is filmed. Keeps you guessing.
