Customer Reviews

beautiful but heart-breaking.

the movie is so real and it's really deep mixed with the bollywood touch! it's perfect but the ending is really sad but very touching!

Up and Down

I found Arjun's character and the feuding families quite real. And Parineeti manages to play her character 150 percent, without which this would in fact be a so so film. The idea that the 2 characters cannot contain the hatred of both their families is an odd twist to the Montague Capulet feud, which ends as everyone knows. In this case without giving it away , I thought it was strange to end this way, as though, there really was no way out. It had a comic book fun , and then would suddenly be super intense and real as the way Pari is treated after the train tryst, infuriating. I was not bored, but not moved either. I think the director should have stuck with comic book fun or serious. Either way it would have been more in focus for me. Aditya Chopra never directs a bad film, or even a good one, they are either very good or fantastic. This one to me was very good.
