Plot Summary
A psychological thriller based on the acclaimed novel by Jane Rogers, ISLAND is a haunting tale of yearning, retribution and redemption. Abandoned at birth, Nikki Black has spent most of her life in 'care' sustained only by fairy-‐tales and fantasy novels. Incapable of love, fearful and desperate for revenge, she decides to find her birth mother, confront her... then kill her. She travels incognito to the remote island where her mother Phyllis now lives as a recluse with Calum, her islander son.
