great disaster!
I'm a lover of dark comedies so I was definitely skeptical going in. But I was happily surprised at how well they walked the line between a grim situation and being wrapped up in trivial drama among friends. Even though most of the cast are unknown actors, they made a really entertaining ensemble and it was interesting to see David Cross play the straight-faced character among them. Overall lots of fun and makes you think, what would i do?!
Really solid black ensemble comedy
Very off kilter, but the characters and their interactions are relatable, so the humor is very grounded in real life. It was also fun to see David Cross play the straight man as opposed to the Arrested and the other parts he's known for. Though most of the cast are unknowns, everyone is on the mark and hilarious. Nice, unconventional ending as well.
It's not a disaster
Perfect movie. America Ferrara has evolved into a brilliant mature actress. Unexpected and different. I nearly fell off the treadmill from laughter. Bravo.
