Kristin Scott Thomas gives the best performance of the year

It's sad that people don't recognize a performance just because the actor doesn't scream and throw things against the wall. Consequently, the lovely Kristin Scott Thomas got snubbed by the Academy Awards this year, but they made sure to recognize Angelina Jolie for her hysterical, "Give me my Oscar" performance in the banal 'Changeling.' Thomas is a British actress but she couldn't find any good roles there or in Hollywood, so she starred in this haunting French film that will keep you guessing and thinking throughout. It's a master class in subtlety, but isn't that the way acting should be? Not over-the-top theatrics, but realistic, down-to-earth performances that make us believe that they're real.

Best Movie I Have Ever Seen

I love foreign films and this one was absolutely outstanding. This movie is so wonderfully written. Intriguing and wonderfully dramatic story-line. Kristin Scott Thomas and Elsa Zylberstein have amazing chemistry as sisters. This is a great movie and I recommend it to anyone.
