Plot Summary

Gadzooks! These be terrible times in the kingdom of Bruno the Questionable! At the darkest hour of the Dark Ages (hey, who turned off the lights?), the dreaded Jabberwock roams the land. His eyes aflame, his talons bared a bone-crushing horror! Which brave knight shall slay the beast and save the kingdom? Who shall win the hand of the fair princess? Could it be Dennis the Apprentice (Michael Palin), a mere dolt and silly fool who carries a potato and loves the fat Griselda? Shall he save the kingdom? Or will he be smitten with chamberpots and made to eat rats on a stick? Arrrgh!

Shut up about Python already!

We get it, it's not a movie by the comedy troupe Monty Python. It's just a movie by all the same people who were in Monty Python. We get it. Yay for them. How about we sit and laugh at how amazingly wonderful this movie is. It's funny, there's people screaming, dancing, having the sex. It's what you would expect from the people who gave you the Flying Circus, Life of Brian & The Holy Grail.
So, if you're a Monty Python fan but are sick to death of having to hear and see the name Monty Python tattooed and plastered over every movie and television show Jabberwocky is the movie for you. That and it helps to have some interest in medieval times.

Funny!

I first saw this movie as a kid back in the 80's. I never remembered it till some rap idiots used the "jabberwocky" name! Very funny!

Not a Python Movie

Although it is a funny movie in the spirit of Monty Python. Jabberwocky is not a Python production.
