Plot Summary

The film features Vijay (Pokkiri,Thalaivaa) and Mohanlal (Bharatham, Vanaprastham) the Super stars of Southern Indian cinema. Sivan (Mohanlal) is a local don and gets cornered by a gang as he is rushing his pregnant wife to hospital. And is rescued by a young boy Shakti, the son of Sivan’s driver who was felled by a policeman’s bullet in the melee. Shakti being an orphan is adopted by Sivan and raises him along with his own son (Mahath). Shakti (Vijay) grows up with an intrinsic hatred for Police, he becomes a powerful right hand man of the don. In order to get a better grip over Madurai and to clear his path of obstacles, Sivan gets Shakti into the police force. But things do not go Sivan’s way. A tragedy in Madurai for which Sivan is responsible, compels Shakti to free Madurai of the crime. This ensues a recoil face-off between the arrogant don and his own adopted and bred turned Police Officer.
