The one and only
He was and is still the best host of the tonight show. I dont think i have seen any one else do a better job then him. When he retired i stopped watching the tonight show after a few weeks. and only watched it from time to time. the new hosts Jay Leno and Conan O'brien did ok. but it didnt feel like home any more without Johnny Carson. The show just didn't feel right to me any more.
THE KING.
Johnny, I truly miss you buddy...for those of you who don't know Johnny Carson well, or who have never seen his show, let me tell you this. Johnny Caron was indeed the king of Late Night television. Nobody can replace him, not even David Letterman. Speaking of Letterman (who comments in the documentary), he has continued the joy and magic of Late Night, so I credit him for that. However, Carson was the man. His show never got old or boring. Everyone loved/loves him and forever will. An icon. A legend..HEEERRRSSSS JOHNNY!
A Benevolent, Hilarious Man
He filmed a documentary of going back to his (and my) hometown, Norfolk, NE. He put on a show for us as 8th graders. Since then, he has given so much money to our town for theaters, hospital wings, and so much more.
He was the King. Everyone else is just messing around.
