Plot Summary
Johnny (Vinnie Jones), trying to escape a violent past, hides out in the world's least-safe safe house, sandwiched between a crime den run by a Jamaican gangster (Eriq LaSalle) and a pirate radio station belonging to a Rasta DJ (Lennox Lewis). When Johnny's former comrade (Patrick Bergin) escapes from prison, Johnny faces being dragged back into violence and away from his new love (Samantha Mumba). Johnny's actions ignite a simmering war on two fronts with his drug-dealing neighbor and his former boss Jimmy (Roger Daltrey). Johnny faces questions of race, morality, loyalty, and ultimately survival--played out against a great reggae sound track from legendary DJ-producer Adrian Sherwood.

Twisted and Brilliant
I give it 2 thumbs up, and 5 stars out of 5 stars. I might be a Catholic from Belfast but i must say this was an incredible thrill ride. Johnny was in fact the best movie of 2006 in my oppinion. Its a new wierd combination, of Irish and Jamaican problems let alone the struggles and some of the Provos who didnt agree to the ceasefire. Buy it, rent it, whatever just watch it!

Brilliant international film, with a soundtrack to match. Stretch your mind over the first 15 minutes to get used to the different filmic cultural approach. You will then be internationalized, and the film sensational. Where do I find the unedited soundtracks, Volumes 1 & 2?
