Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Though the lead actress, newcomer Jordana Beatty, gives a spunky performance as third-grader Judy, her character's borderline bratty charm wears thin fast. Mostly it's undercut by the movie's irritatingly antic slapstick style. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 9, 2011

Rotten: Too bad, then, that there's no real joy in all the physical business filling the screen, not even in Judy's animated daydreams. Bummer. – Sheri Linden, Los Angeles Times, Aug 30, 2011

Rotten: "Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer" is sure to appeal to kids of all ages from 6 to 9 who are female and have no taste or sense of humor. – Kyle Smith, New York Post, Jun 10, 2011

Rotten: With summer comes theaters filled with superheroes, sequels and forgettable family fare. In the last category, we find "Judy Moody." – Sandie Angulo Chen, Washington Post, Jun 10, 2011

Saw it in theaters...even worst on the big screen!

I'm 12 years old it was the worlds worst movie ever!! The whole theme of the movie was big foot!!!

Pretty Good !

Im 15 and my sister (who is 19) and I went to see this movie together, and we both really enjoyed it. I really liked it. Maybe it was just the little kid coming out in me, but I loved it and can't wait to see it again! I personally thought it was funny and entertaining..although it was pretty cheesy at times, I would definitely buy it!

Yes & No

I wan't sure how to rate this. I took my 7 daughter to see this and she told me it was awesome. I didn't get it. Maybe that's it's supposed to be.
