Plot Summary

Mary Tyler Moore plays a happily married suburban housewife who develops a strong friendship with brash TV reporter Christine Lahti. When Moore's husband suddenly dies, she discovers that Lahti, her new best friend, had been having an affair with him.

wonderful movie

This movie is fantastic, with humor as well as some heartbreak. Bringing in the themes of friendship, betrayal, and love, this is a great film to get hooked on.
