NO original cast! Why?

Imagine turning on the Simpsons one day and hearing Alec Baldwins voice coming out of Homer Simpson. Hey I"m a fan of Alec but I don't want to hear his voice coming out of Homer's mouth. William Baldwin's fine too but he isn't Batman. Where's Kevin Conroy? Is Mark Harmon really that much cheaper to get than Tim Daly (or even George Newburn at least)? And I don't understand why these producers are always messing with Lex. You are NEVER going to find better than Clancy Brown. Just because Chris Noth may be a more well known name doesn't make him a better Luthor. I found the lack of any continuity to the characters who Absolutely Nailed It in the recent "Public Enemies" feature to be very distracting and it detracted from what otherwise was a solid effort. I will say Superman came off as a big wuss vs Ultraman and the plot kind of plodded along for awhile there but the were some terrific moments and fine visuals.

GREAT FILM--DCAU haters need to stop whining.

I think the DC Universe films are hitting a real stride and if you are a comicbook fan, fan of superhero films (live action) or a mainstream fan with some passing interest in superheroes..DC's animated films completely destroy Marvel's (imo so do the comicbooks themselves). What's sad is the gaggle of comicbook nerds who followed Bruce Timm's 15 yr odyssey of creating a layered animated universe covering Batman, Superman and the Justice League. These fans want to link everything to that TV show but this film (while it was originally planned to be part of it) stands as strongly as the last few animated films from DC--namely Wonder Woman, Green Lantern First Flight and Superman Batman Public Enemies. Justice League Crisis of Two Earths is just incredible..well acted, a truly fun story and some fantastic action sequences. Why I liked this one the best is simple--there is just so much going on. Superman Batman is the definition of fun with battles after battles and a truly simple Michael Bay (sans the racism) style story..loud action and over macho men. But this film JL COE2 is a different animal. The plot is more sublime. The philosophical questions poised by Owlman is actually terrifying and thought-provoking in this age of economic ruin and political gridlock. The one criticism I have is that the world of the parallel Earth as portrayed in Earth Two (a fascinating construct where good is truly evil and destined to fail) would have made an interesting viewing for those people new to this DCU staple of evil earths. Still, the Batman line at the end, the Marvel family, Batman's battle with Superwoman and Wonder woman v Owlman to me were absolutely stunning--well animated, acted, written and experienced. Get this film!

Really good movie!

Just saw the movie on 2/20/10 and I have to say it was really good! The graphics are good and so is the plot line. This movie is definitely an improvement over the last Justice League movie: The New Frontier.
