Plot Summary
In March 2006, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was reelected amid a firestorm of controversy about his strong-arm tactics and civil rights brutality. This documentary by Yuri Chashchevatsky captures the protest that followed. The filmmaker, who has dogged Lukashenko since he took office in 1994, uses a police crackdown on protestors in Minsk as the centerpiece of this angry exposé of the president's near-dictatorship.
